About Me

Well My Name is Derick Boateng, and im a student at the University of Portsmouth, currently studying Bsc (Hons) Business Information Systems. This is my Study Blog, on a weekly basis i will be posting up what i have learnt and reflect on some issues that has been raised in my lectures!

So my history - I'm originally from South West London, and moved to the small town/City of Portsmouth to continue my studies. I Started on Computing HND which gave me the perfect stepping stone to progress in my education.

In this blog the main units that I will discuss are:

INSAD - Information Systems Analysis and Design
RSMET - Research Methods

I will add more units as the Semester moves along. But for now these will be the two main units I will focus on. The first unit INSAD is all about Systems Analysis and the methodologies used. The second is Research Methods, this unit gives us the necessary research skills to tackle our final year project.
